In this introductory-level class led by Dance Champion Abdiel, you will establish the Latin Hustle rhythm, explore partner dynamics, and learn technical aspects of connection, footwork & timing in foundational movement patterns. Classes are gender-neutral, and everyone will be encouraged to learn both roles of leader and follower. 

This introductory level class is absolutely FREE, thanks to the generosity of BAAD!

Dance Is Life celebrates our last party in Central Park this season, with a farewell (for now) to the Naumberg Bandshell on Tuesday, September 12. (Don’t worry, this is not the grand finale! We’ll be back for the season’s last dance on September 18 at Hudson River Pier 76.)

Dance Is Life returns to the Naumberg Bandshell in Central Park on August 31st, featuring special guest Rimarkable! We’ll be dancing from 5pm until the sun goes down.

Dance Is Life returns to Hudson River Park’s Pier 76 on August 14th, celebrating the return of Natasha Diggs and Abdiel from their mini world tour! As usual, we’ll be dancing from 5pm until the sun goes down.
