Dance Is Life returns to Mondays and Hudson River Park’s Pier 76 for a series of summer dance parties through September. The fun begins in a special collaboration with Ladies Of Hip Hop to celebrate their 20th Anniversary, featuring not one, but three DJs, including Natasha Diggs, Sabine Blaizin, and Mari Ella. Join this all-star, all-female crew at Hudson River Park’s Pier 76, in a dance for all the daughters, and the sisters, and the mothers of Hip Hop music and dance.
Ladies of Hip Hop (LOHH) is a global, nonprofit organization in NYC that is dedicated to empowering girls and women in Hip-Hop culture. LOHH reclaims and transforms spaces to provide all women a platform to be heard, seen, respected, and celebrated within the greater Hip-Hop and arts community. By providing resources and opportunities such as dance training, performance showcasing, mentorships, educational programs, career development support, and networking, LOHH are building the next generation of hip-hop's changemakers.
