Dance Is Life celebrates our last party in Central Park this season, with a farewell (for now) to the Naumberg Bandshell on Tuesday, September 12. (Don’t worry, this is not the grand finale! We’ll be back for the season’s last dance on September 18 at Hudson River Pier 76.)

Dance Is Life is a free communitarian dance party for the public, encouraging freedom of self-expression and human connection through shared joy and movement. Partner dancing is encouraged, particularly Latin Hustle, in an effort to preserve the dance. We are honored to continue the tradition of dancing Hustle in Central Park which began in the early 1970s.

All dance styles and levels are welcome.
