Dance Is Life presented by Works & Process at the Guggenheim Museum, with a Latin Hustle Class, Performance & Social Dance

Dance Is Life popped up during winter break, bringing this free public service indoors, with a takeover of the Guggenheim Rotunda. Presented by Works & Process. This evening of Latin Hustle included an introductory class by Ahtoy Juliana and Veronica Castilla, and a surprise performance by Kristine Bendul and Abdiel. Then, partners practiced their moves in a social dance party where they hustled the night away, with a DJ set by Nelson “Paradise” Roman.

BROADWAY WORLD REVIEW

“Dance is Life has built a community committed to inclusivity and having fun. Laughter, encouragement, and join-in conga lines are spread up and down the spiraling floors of the museum. Everyone is present and ready to dance; you can’t help but get up and begin grooving with a friend or stranger. At Dance is Life, enjoyment is infectious.”
